NU Innovates: “Why Industry-University Partnerships Are Important for You”
David Shaw Lecture Theatre, Medical School
Thursday, 1st March 2018
12:00PM - 1:00PM
With the increasing emphasis from our funders on partnering with industry, the faculty is keen to support researchers in achieving these goals and enriching their research through a program of events and seminars under the banner “NU Innovates”. NU Innovates will provide the inspiration, knowledge and connections for researchers who wish to partner with industry.
Prof Mark Birch-Machin, Associate Dean of Business Development and Commercial interface will launch NU Innovates with a lunchtime seminar, followed by a buffet lunch and networking opportunities.
The session will focus on faculty funding available to support activities and collaborations with industry, as well as insights from Paul Swift, Procter & Gamble’s Open Innovation Manager, on working with academia and the opportunities available to collaborate with P&G.
Further information on events will be provided, and can also be found on the NU Innovates website.
The NU Innovates program is supported by the University’s MRC Proximity to Discovery scheme.
Please book your attendance by emailing the PtD Programme Manager Sarah Greenhalgh
